Stormy Landscape Photograph over Borth-Y-Gest
A recent holiday to Porthmadog, North Wales offered me the chance to forget about the stresses of everyday work, relax with my family and endulge in my passion for photography.
In keeping with the pattern of poor British weather which we’ve enjoyed this year, the weather was gloomy, dull and wet. Not very good for topping up your tan but an ideal opportunity photographically for capturing the mood and atmosphere of a great British storm.
This shot was taken at Borth-Y-Gest beach in North Wales. It beautifully captures the ominous gloom cast by the approaching rain clouds.
